We have worked with MND NSW for over 9 years across 5 different websites, building a long-term partnership based on trust, reliability, and deep understanding of their mission to support people living with motor neurone disease.
The Challenge
When we started working with MND NSW in 2016, we inherited several legacy websites with security and maintenance issues. The organization needed a reliable digital partner who could stabilize their existing infrastructure while planning for long-term improvements.
MND NSW required multiple interconnected platforms to serve different stakeholder groups—from people living with MND and their families, to healthcare professionals, donors, and volunteers.
Our Solution
We took a phased approach to support MND NSW's digital transformation:
Phase 1: Stabilization & FlexEquip
Our first priority was hosting, maintaining, and securing the legacy websites. We quickly moved to stabilize critical issues and improve performance.
We then created FlexEquip—a custom web application that enables medical practitioners to procure specialized equipment for MND NSW members and patients. This system streamlined their equipment lending service and improved accessibility for people with rapidly progressive neurological conditions.
Phase 2: Website Rebuild (2025)
In 2025, we began a complete rebuild of their main website using the latest accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 compliance). The fresh new web design received favorable response from across the organization.
